policy. Membership to the group is necessary to be covered
under the master policy. Such plans are commonly referred
to as an Association Plan, providing a specified benefit to the
members of a particular group, or association.
Such group
plans are not individually underwritten. In other words an
applicants ability to acquire coverage through an association
with a group providing coverage, will not be conditioned on the
applicants insurability. Membership to the group, or
association is all that is required to be eligible for coverage.
These plans are very inexpensive however an may compliment a
overall risk management plan by using them in conjunction with a
